Norwegian newspapers, Oslo, june 27th:
"Steve Lukather and his band are on their "No Jazz Tour" for two years. Last night's concert at the Rockefeller club was a huge success. Allthough there were samll elements of jazz during a couple of solo's this was a ROCK concert from start to finish. "Luke" and his fellow musicians hypnotized the audience with their energetic forces on stage. Lukather(50) proved why he has been such an in- demand session guitarist for three decades. Groove, feel, speed and a fantastic guitar sound made this a night to remember for the audience in the packed Rockefeller Music Hall. I am most ceirtanly hoping for a visit also on their second leg of the tour"
Or something like that, haha.
It's gonna be one hell of a show, I'm sure.
Can't wait.

Oslo
I hate the fact that I'm not going to Oslo to see Luke, but I am going to Copenhagen instead!
Rockefeller won't allow anyone who's underage, even though they brought a guardian along. I think it is idiotic, so I am off to Copenhagen to see the guitar-god rock. But I am really looking forward to it. I am sure it will be a great experience, and I don't think I will ever forget it.
HAHA!! I doubt we're gonna
HAHA!!
I doubt we're gonna read that, if there's gonna be any reviews at all... I saw Whitesnake at Sentrum Scene last week, and have only found 1 review (in Østkantavisa)...
I'm sure the show will be great, and we can only hope for some good press reviews the day after (if the press is gonna be there)..

Stein Østbø in VG gave Dave & co a 3 on the dice.
I thought about going, but the 1987 and after is not the Whitesnake I like best. I'm more of the bluesy type, hehe.

in the paper version of VG I
in the paper version of VG I guess... Can't find it on Internet..
Anyway, Østbø gave them 5 on the last record, "Good To Be Bad", and I can't agree more. The live show anyhow, Coverdale was the weakest part of the band, so I can understand why the press will give bad critics...though I'd say 5 or 4 on the dice.
Have seen an incredible concert with Bon Jovi tonight (review tomorrow or friday), and can't wait to see Luke on Thursday.
See you there!
