Hello everybody,

Amazing, really. Both the man Jeff Beck himself and his band. Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, the girl bass player... Great performance and diversity. Much interaction within the band. Fun guest appearances, but the DVD would have been fantastic without that too. Very small, intimate venue. Kind of like the New Morning Paris Lukather/Carlton DVD. And people like Robert Plant in the audience.
Bust most of all: superb sound and virtuoso.
Is this topic Toto related? Well I think it is a bit: I thought Luke is a friend of Beck's, and a song co-written by Simon Phillips is on this DVD: Space Boogie.
I would like to recommend everyone to get this DVD!
Would be great if such a DVD by Luke would appear these coming years. But I'm sure this will happen. This Jeff Beck DVD also kept his fans waiting for a long time.

it's a Grammy winner!
Just found out that Jeff Beck won a Grammy with a song on this CD/DVD: A Day In the Life. Great Beatles cover.

Tal Wilkenfeld. Awesome. I am working with Her AND Vinnie today !!
I am doing this "6 string Theory" record. It is a recod with guitar players from EVERY style from BB King , Keb Mo, Mike Stern , Andy McKee, John Scofield, Vince Gill, Guthrie Govan, and Lee Ritenour, and some 'secret cats" I will reveal soon. Not Jeff beck, he could not do it from what I hear BUT George Benson Pat Martino, jeez.. I cant remember them all.. there is alot more greats.
2 of my tunes today and I am also co producing the 3 tracks I am involved in.
I also start MY new solo record next Tues and I have some really great tunes and I am way up for it all.
I am working on the material for the Mrch tour in Japan/Asia with Randy Brecker-Bill Evans-Robben Ford-Daryl Jones_Steve Weingart and Rodney Holmes. THAT is gponna be a blast. I am booked solid till summer and THEN.. could be a massive surprise there. I cant tell. hahaha
My new record will drop in the Fall.
I am very happy healthy and busy! Hope you guys are too!

Can't wait for the 2010 record and for you to start on it. Have you thought of joining a sports team? They travel a lot.
