I discovered this in a store around christmas time. Quite coincidentally and didn’t even notice it before I heard the saleswoman complaining about some freaky kids going on her nerves by playing on it again and again, day after day. I had to laugh so hard and just had to check it out myself. When doing so, I noticed how much fun it was. And quite relaxing, too, since every beat you drum reflects a light. Convinced me. So I bought it spontaneously. I am “working” on it every now and then. So far, no soulful rhythm coming out of my fingers onto this kit, just..um..freestyle?? I will have to take some lessons it seems…Insider advices, anyone?

Your stuff is coming! But OK, I have to use my fingers too, to play. And I can´t put it in the pocket or on a shelf. ;o(
Greetz, Ralf.
Hey Ralf!
Cool kit Ralf!
It doesn't look like a wannabe drummer kit to me, wink!
Ramona
Thanx Ramona
But it is ;o(
I´ve seen & heard real drummers doing things with this kit, I will never be able to do.
But I keep on practicing and maybe one day...
Don´t stop believin! Thats what a famous american band shares about life!
Ralf.
As long as we have fun
As long as we have fun playing is the important thing. No need to know all technical stuff. Just have fun!
I´m with you!
And if the fun is shared by others ( hopefully band members and audiance) you´re on a good way!
Thanks mate Mickey.
Hey Ralf!
It doesn't matter as long as you're having fun with it, that's most important.
Some drummers prefer to play with all the equipment there is and some keep it simple and still give you the most amazing performances.
Adam Nussbaum said something incredible back at Adams (Ittervoort).
He said: Simple is not easy!
I'll never forget it! Weither you play drums or do something different, it's always true!
My dad started out like this: http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj101/remuun/papa.jpg back in 1968!
He even sold his motorcycle/scooter to get this kit, cause he wanted to play drums so bad.
Now he's sponsored by Ludwig with his drumschool! I can't be more proud of my dad!
I wish i could invite you for special events at the drumschool, but it's too bad were not living close to each other.
Keep practicing!
Ramona
Thanks for the support, Ramona!
You can be very proud of your dad ( I know you are) and he can be proud of you.
I love Adam Nussbaums wisdom!!!
;o)
Groetjes naar Nederland, Ralf.
No thanks!
I am very proud and so is he. He is very supportive with photography.
Adam Nussbaum is great!
Here's a picture i'd like to share with you: http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj101/remuun/goldsnareandpapa.jpg
My dad holding the ludwig gold snare at his importer (Ludwig Europe).
This snare is really rare! There are only a few of them made in the world.
I went into the importer's stockroom with my dad, it's insane how many kit's they've got!
It was amazing to see.
Ramona
Boo!
Men...tsk, TYPICAL! ;-) BUT: I am sure you don't look THAT fancy with a blue wig!
