I was honored to be inducted into "The Louisiana Musician's Hall of Fame" a couple of weeks ago. They sent me this photo that will be posted on the web site. I'm very proud to be amongst some of my special music heroes there now. It was a fun night, and I got to play with "Louisiana's Leroux", which was a band I helped put together (and Fergie sang with them after I left the band to come out to LA and sing with Toto) It was so nice to see some of my old friends again, and a great time being in the presence of some of Louisiana's finest players and singers.

It was a magnificent moment in my life to be inducted into this organization. There are some of my favorite musicians in the list of inductees, and I'm very proud to be amongst them now. I couldn't help but think about Toto the whole time I was onstage recieving the award, but when it comes to my best moments in music, Toto was always there in my mind.
The tour they're doing to help out Mike is proof that this band, no matter who is onstage, is sharing their hearts for the most worthy cause possible. Of course I would love to be there, because Mike is my friend too, but I'm sure Joseph will shine in the vocal position, as he always did. I would love to see some of the concerts, and I really hope Toto plays some concerts around the LA area, because I would love to contribute to Mike's cause as much as I can. It would also be as much fun as it gets to sing with the guys again. Go out and have a ball with them in Europe, and know that I'll be there in spirit with all of you for Mike. Have fun, and enjoy the great music that's coming your way. I'll see you soon with my band in Europe, but do realize Mike is the "cause" you should keep in mind on the Toto shows about to come about. Thank you, also, for reminding us what this tour is about. I am happy to say now that I WILL be singing out loud, but it makes me even happier to know that I have made a contribution to Mike's cause and hopefully my joy could bring joy to him as well. I will be thinking about you two!
