Jethro Tull, the band that in 1971 had the most infamous Red Rocks
concert ever, returned to the fabled venue on August 12. Based upon the
setlist one might very well have thought it was that day in 1971.
Touring in celebration of their fortieth anniversary, the band decided
to harken back to their early days opening with 1968's My Sunday
Feeling. The blues theme continued with Living in the Past and Roland
Kirk's Serenade to a Cuckoo which allowed frontman Ian Anderson to
showcase his dirty flute style of playing.

Veteran Rockers Woven Into Coming of Age Novel
Steve Lukather, Toto Saluted in Erik Cagle's "Gross Misconduct"
July 29, 2008—PHILADELPHIA—While fans of the pop/rock band Toto may
be in mourning over the group's recent decision to separate, a new novel sheds some light on Steve Lukather's influence and inspiration for the book's protagonist. Throughout "Gross Misconduct," antihero Aury Treadway reflects on the lyrics and music of Toto, particularly his hero, Luke. It is the background music during many pivotal moments in Aury's life.

Our interview with Joe Porcaro is now available! We hope you enjoy it as much as Eddy and I enjoyed interviewing this music legend. Joe Porcaro is definitely one of the kindest and classiest guests we have had. Join us as he shares stories from his career, not to mention some amazing stories about his sons Jeff, Mike and Steve.
