Hey guys,
Just checkin in. I have been working on all my euro dates for 2009. Its gonna be fun and ALOT of work. I gotta work twice as hard cause of the dollar-euro conversions. Hoping the dollar goes up but after watching the news and reading the papers.. unlikely for while although miracles happen. We could ALL use one!
I wanted to ask some of you guys a question.
Some have sent private messages ro me but there is never anything in them? Its just your info. If there is a specific question please state it and i will TRY and answer. I get 1000 e mails a day, especially when getting ready for tours and other work so be patient or just ask the questions in the normal for where everyone can see it and i will try and answer in my blogg here.
I am excited to do this Les Paul tribute this weekend in Cleveland at the rock hall of fame. All my good friends will be there, Slash, Billy Gibbons, Richie Sambora, Duanse Eddy, james Burton and on and on.. and Les is 93 and still funny and playin his ass off. I wanna be like him when and IF I ever grow up. haha
I am also working on my charity show at the ROXY in LA Dec 21st. Tickets are cheap, 20 bucks in advance and 25 the night of and ALL proceeds go to the charity!! Get yer tickets now if ya live around here!
I have comfirmations from Steve Vai, Mike Landau, Jeff Babko, Paich, Sklar, Trevor and Scott Page, Fee Waybill, Sterling Ball and I have some other great guitar players and artists and surprise guests that are 99% tht I will announce end of next week! who said yes BUT need to confirm. This is gonna be a killer show and my band is the house band but people are gonna sit in thru the night. It will NOT be a bad blues jam I promise. Some Xmas stuff from Santamental and some rock n roll and some of my stuff.. just good fun and for a great cause UCLA transplants for kids. The Casey Lee Ball foundation my fave charity.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will have stories to tell from Cleveland on Mon.
