Adding new contacts & my station?

With the upgrades to the MashCast Navigation menu, how do we send an outgoing request to someone we want to add as a new contact/buddy?

What does selecting "make this my station" actually do?

Just click on 'add.... to contactlist' in the other persons profile!

you can make a node

you can make a node (image,mashcast,etc, appear there) by clicking the "make this my profile station" link. So I just made a movie and uploaded it to a blog called ...Clicked the 'Make this my profile station' link,,, Now if you go to my Profile, you will see my movie...

I think it makes it you

I think it makes it you default page. So it will go straight there when you log on.
But I could be wrong. It has happened before.
