We have had a few emails asking if lead singers were to be inducted. The Musicians Hall Of Fame only inducts musicians. Lead singers that are not known for there ability to play an instrument are not inducted as a musician. Example: Glen Campbell was included as a member of the Wrecking Crew induction in 2007 as a studio musician, not for singing Rhinestone Cowboy or Phoenix. Who performs with the inductee(s) at the award show is up to them, not the Musicians Hall Of Fame.

The more I read your original post, it was clear(er) to me that this is a rhythm-section issue....not a vocalist one. Figured as much, and then Luke's blurb confirmed.
