Guys,
It has come to my attention that there is BOGUS "steven lee lukather" on twitter and facebook. I have NEVER even seen these sites till today. It seems some of my friends have been duped into thinking it is really me and then I dont answer or respond.
First off, NO ONE calls me Steven lee Lukather except my Mom and she doesnt own a computer.
I cant get on there to stop this person. My son has tried. My neighbor, a famous soaps star on general hospital hipped me to it as did Trev.
I just got a Myspace 4 months ago and thats now not as hip??? hahaha I cant keep up.
However, I might try and figure it all out at some point when I am not working or chasing a baby around! haha
Those who know me know what a fucking idiot I am when it comes to techy stuff BUT I realize this is the 'new hip stuff".
IF any of you can figure out how to tell people that it is NOT ME! I would appreciate it.
Trev has tried to ask whomever this person is who they are and they dont reply.
I dont want to give anyone a bad impression of myself or seem snobbish by not adding people or whatever the fuck goes on in there.
I have never seen any of this stuff until today! Thanks god its not a bunch of negative stuff.

I remember a couple of days ago, that Rich Such from 'Inside MusiCast' was asking if it was the real 'Steve Lukather' facebook page. Haha now I know.

Totally sympathise with your predicament Mr Bogus. I'm not as famous as you (yet Ha-ha!) but I got one hanging up in Scotland on myspace. Tried to get my own profile 2gether and low 'n' behold there he is with not too much of a profile of himself at all - just one pic of him playing a Digereef*****gdoo and he's ugly too!!
My Daughter Rosanna (remember signing a white shirt for me at Hammersmith Apollo) is always aggin' me to get on facebook as well... somehow I'm not sure I want to drag up my seedy past ;-)
My good friend Eddy Meuwese introduced me to the network... it rocks man.

People loves you, so is natural they are using your name like tribute, i guess. It could be a fu.... done for you, I know,otherwise it´s an stupid concept of tribute..hahah.

There are a lot of Steve Lukathers on facebook
When you search for persons you can find more then one steve lukather. There may be other people who have the same name, of course, but they have a pic of you as profil-pic, too.
Did you check these profiles Feli?
Do they let you believe they're Luke too or is it clear it are fanpages???

I think if these were fanpages
there would be a link "become a fan" or something like that and not "add to friends". I can't have a look at the profiles as you have to be a "friend" to see any information.

Facebook-A call to ACTION!!!
Steve and all-I just went to FB and sent the founder a message/wall post concerning this issue and I would encourage everybody else to do the same. All you hafta do is search for Mark Zuckerman, become a fan and send him a message. If we all get together and hammer him with messages, he will have his legal department take care of this fraud just so he can get the messages to stop...
If you have been resisting joining FB , I would suggest that this is a great reason to do so. We MUST come to Steve's aid here as he is busy touring and such and Trev is busy as well. Steve has given SOOoo much of his talent and life to us... If you don't want to stay on FB , you don't have to, but I would suggest that you stay till we can get this taken care of for Luke.
Also, don't think that one message is gonna do the trick. Keep on sending messages till they open thier eyes and take care of this.
So now I am gonna go join up at MS and TW...
