Facebook have just introduced a new feature to allow users their own URL - eg www.facebook.com/yourname. I just checked and www.facebook.com/stevelukather is available.

If once you have logged in to facebook you go to 'http://facebook.com/username' you should be able to choose your own url - then no-one else can get this once you have it.

I missed out on www.facebook.com/howardfoster as someone in the US already had it ! So I had to settle for www.facebook.com/howardjfoster
