Finally has come to an end...at least for a good long while and as far as Europe is concerned. I'm writing this while the boyz are in the air on their way home and I'm decompressing in Helsinki with family for a few days. This last leg was one with very few dull moments; from the beginnig with the "series of unfortunate events" to the final show in Tampere which was strong from note one. Big love again to the band "Nylon Beat" whose singers came out and celebrated with us on "Hold The Line."
Lots of highlights, though. The main one being the absolutely spectacular country side of Norway. What a pleasant surprise! The people were great, too. Very good business also, as we pulled off 5 shows there when in past gigs, I never went beyond Oslo.
While it was fun, it was by no means easy. Not ONE off day. Either a gig or spending the whole day bussing to one but I still wouldn't trade a second of it for anything else in the world. I'm worn out but very pleased and looking forward to touring more of Scandinavia.
On the other hand, it's gonna be SOOOO nice to be home for more than 5 days so I'm sure you'll understand if you don't hear from me for a while. I will be checking in often so keep the comments and questions coming.
God bless and remember, tell a friend!
Peace...Greg

SO NOW IT'S ALL "BEAN PIES & STOGIES" FROM HERE ON OUT....
.......eh, Greg???
As if 18 months on the road, an extra bass player or two, and the vagaries of touring aren't enough!!! ::))
We're all very grateful that you guys laid it out for all to see, and we appreciate your skill, your cool, your couth, your class, and obviously your sheer musicianship more than the English language allows....may you rest and coup, and recoup, and get everything you want and need.
Thanks for popping into Chicago a time or two, and thanks for the kind words, and the soulful hang.
See you some day again, soon~TT
Vegas, Baby!
Greg,
Greetings. When will you be back in Vegas?
Sarantina
Coming Soon
Actually, I'll be there early next month working on my main man Andre Agassi's "Grand Slam" charity event at the MGM Grand. I'll be jammed up with work but try to come to the show. It's one of the best produced events in the country and such a worthy cause as well.
Take care...Greg
It's a small world after all
Hi Gregory,
Welcome to Las Vegas.
Well, enjoy our city. The weather is absolutely fabulous right now.
Avoir un temps merveilleux !
Don't Work Too Hard!
I'll be out of town on the 6th :-(
Figures, that's the day of the event.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.....
Adios,
Sarantina
enjoy your time off
Hope you enjoy your time off. I want to thank you again, and the band too for being so kind in Vegas and saying hello to us fans that were waiting. It was a fantastic show and I hope you make it back there again next year. I am looking forward to the dvd and wish you the very best in the upcoming year.
Joe
Have a nice relax
Hi Greg, have a nice relaxing time in Helsinki and have a safe journey home.
Traveling
Hi Greg:
Traveling can take a lot out of you, Especially the flights over 8 hours. Rest, drink water, and enjoy those around you, especially family. Pray and watch a good comedy for a hearty laugh! That does one good.
By the way, I am new here and read an old blog of yours to Erik about God. I am pleasantly surprised at your depth of relationship with the Lord and extremely glad for you. Keep that great balance in your life. Your smiles in your photo's show such joy.
I pray for your strength.
Joyfully,
Sarantina
Thank you, sweetie.
I'm doing everything you mentioned, in that order! Big thanks for your prayers, too.
Cheers,
Greg
Imagine That
Howdy Greg:
I am actually learning something on this site :o I live in Nevada and had never heard of "Jackpot, NV" until I saw it here! This is turning into an educational experience (smile).
Hope you made it back to the states safely. Just want to tell all the "guys" to be sure to take your daily dose of Saw Palmetto!
I know, I sound like your Mother. I'm just seasoned that way.
Vitamin for the day....Vitamin A = Acknowledge the Lord in all your transactions, so He can lead you!
Take Care.
