I think it's a terrible version. The vocals...oooh. Well, I know people don't like this, I'm never negative but the whole Yokohama show wasn't the best, the sound and shit, unmixed stufff...exept for the solos. I liked that and Hold The Line, last song. I don't know why that show is so famous actually.
Because it's from the reunion tour!!! If we didn't have a record of this Yokohama show we'd still be stuck with watching "Live In Paris 1990" and "Live In Amsterdam 2003", with no recordings of Caught In The Balance, Mad About You, I Will Remember, etc..... I actually love the rendition of Africa from this show. It shows you what is possible with next to no backing tracks, and the harmonies are REAL. Ok, if I was trying to demonstrate to friends why Toto are so great, the Yokohoma DVD, or any bootleg DVD for that matter, wouldn't be on my list of things to show them. But for us Toto fans who already know the standard these guys reach the majority of times, I don't see why a little bit of rawness like the Yokohama DVD does any harm. It's nice to have a variety of performances I think.......

Mad About You was played only a few shows at the beginning of the Mindfields-tour, and this is the only live recording of it that I know about.
I LOVE the studio version, specially the intro with it's organic kick drum and smooth guitar. I'd really like to hear Toto do this live again...what about playing it on the 30th anniversary, with Joseph (who co-wrote the tune) sharing the vocals with Bobby??

I absolutely love this song! I make sure its turned right up loud so everyone else can hear how great it is and I usually want to jump on the drums and join in while its on!
I sure hope its one of the songs on their aussie playlist! :-)
