SO HERE ARE THE TOTONETWORK “RULES OF THE ROAD” This service is for those with a common interest in TOTO, their music and their activities . . . anytime, anywhere in the world. It is a private club, whose membership and written contributions are based on reasonable community standards of decency and equality. It is a network for the band, it audience, and its worldwide network of “musical friends and family.” The rules of the roads that lead to TOTO are not fraught with “flaming,” sexual or political content, criticism or strife. We ask that visitors try and maintain a friendly and lively tone. (Otherwise, it’s time for “Mister Hook.”) As a social network hub, this is not a “dating” website (Although we do like dating, we are musicians after all) but a place to interact both individually and jointly, collaborating and communicating artistically. A place for musical aficionados and professionals alike to have some serious fun, create some cool content, and learn a whole bunch of stuff . . . some “socially relevant,” some “not.” Of course, you don’t have to join in with all the other kids, but you’ll probably get more out of this, if you do. Enjoy. Rules and Etiquette: Please read, quietly. Forum The chat room was created as a positive space for TOTOphiles to hang out and talk with one another. When you log into chat, you agree to the following rules: • No cursing (swearing)-this is strictly enforced in the Forum. • Do not type in ALL CAPS. It is annoying to others and completely unnecessary. • While TOTO is popular the world over, we ask that all chatting be in English. This is so no one gets left out. • No Spamming. This includes typing words or elements repetitively, such as your email address or URL, and any other words that clog up the chat room. • Most of all: Respect yourself and your follow TOTOphiles. Site moderators (mods) are people, too: they’re here to help people maintain these rules. Please do not disrespect or dismiss mods when you are asked to do so. Entry guidelines We’d like you to understand that not everything is suitable for the TOTO NETWORK. As such, certain rules apply to the images and texts that are submitted to the TOTO NETWORK Community site. So, the moderators will selectively browse submitted items and remove entries that fall into any or all of the groups described below. You may not submit: • Material unsuitable for all ages, such as pornographic, violent, inflammatory, and/or insulting text or images. • Incriminating material showing or suggesting involvement in a crime. • Material violating the privacy of others, such as personal material not intended to be published online or otherwise made public, such as personal data, contact information, telephone numbers, addresses, and so on. • Material protected by copyright, unless permission is granted in writing by the copyright holder, for specific use on the TOTO NETWORK site. • Compromising material and false allegations influencing the credibility and reputation of a person or persons. • Entries offensive to the public, such as discriminating expressions or offensive material based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender or sexual preference. Moderators reserve the right to remove such entries. Any of these violations can cause your account to be restricted or suspended and can include an IP ban.
