Hey gang, The Indy show was quite excellent, outside of a few issues with guitar tuning. The crowd was very enthusiastic and enjoyed having Toto in Indy for the first time! I am so dang tired from a long day, so I will post more tomorrow. I have some footage from sound check that I will get edited and uploaded soon, too, not to mention a vast array of photos. Goodnight. Rick
I have waited for this day for a long time. As many of you know from some of my other blogs, I have traveled all over to see these guys perform and FINALLY they have a gig in my hometown. It's gonna' be a great show tonight in a small, sold out venue. Also, for those of you in Indy, the guys are going to be interviewed on WZPL, 99.5 FM Monday morning starting around 9:00 AM. Be sure to tune in if you can! I am going to try and record the interview and make it available here later, pending approval. I am hoping to deliver as much audio/video/photo content as I can, so stay tuned.
Well it has been since 1980 that I last had the chance to see the band perform, and by a fluke I discovered about the show at the MusicMill on Friday afternoon when a co-worker mentioned they had heard about it on the radio. (I never hear these things since I listen to CD's in the car pretty much exclusively...) I just checked and it appears that tickets are still available, so I am crossing my fingers and hoping my luck holds out until Monday. (I would order them online but hate paying those "handling" fees) I am just wondering how many here on the Network may be attending??? It crossed my mind that being an intimate venue, the possibility might even exist to shake hands or get an autograph....
