Tanya and I then drove to Topanga Canyon: the name is so evocative for any rock fan, as Canned Heat's first album was named after this L.A. location, and Neil Young used to own a house here (and maybe he still does). In any case it's a beautiful place, a big hippy vibe coming with a splendid overlook on the valley...
Type: blogI recently had the pleasure of going to Moscow to check out the sights. I sang with a great band of musicians from LA at a big Auto Show near Red Square. (Sklar, you would have been in Heaven seeing these cars.) Before the show, I got a chance to visit Red Square and The Kremlin. I have so many pictures of that visit, but I'll start with this one. What an amazing place. I felt like I had walked into some forbidden place (being an American). I can remember the times when it was only a dream to go there and hang at the Kremlin (unless you were a politician).
