The feature "Dear Guitar Hero" is running in the GUITAR WORLD March issue, on sale January 13, 2009 The piece is called Dear Guitar Hero, and it's Steve Lukather's responses to questions submitted by Guitar World readers. The questions touch on a range of topics from his approach on the new record, "Ever Changing Times", to his history with Elton John, Aretha Franklin and Miles Davis to the most bizarre and intimidating session he ever played on in the Seventies. Now, I LOVE Seattle, but I miss seeing Luke at the Coach House, Palomino, Baked Potato, Key Club, Agoura, etc. etc. I got SO spoiled. However, the way Luke treated me and everyone of us "regular" fans that showed up at many of those shows - always like a long lost friend - makes him way beyond the guitar god he is, it makes him a guitar god that appreciates us.
