Lots of Simon news!!

Hey Everybody, Hope all of you are ok. Since T99 and S-P.com dont get updated that often (no offence... haha), I thought I would give you some updates about what Simon's up to these days. Last Saturday, I flew from LA to New York to see the Modern Drummer Festival at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. Simon and his new band Protocol were headlining on Saturday. He was in a very good mood and told one joke after another. Drumming wise, this was the best gig I've seen him play with this band so far.

UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE Just spoke with Jeff Richman and it turns out that Abe Laboriel Sr. can't make it. Jimmy Haslip will be his replacement. Also they added Mitchel Forman on keys.
